Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters (Book Review)
Dr. Meg Meeker, author of "Fathers and Daughters strong strong," he believes his father to be a strong influence in his life. Since by his own medical practice that has seen many young people in trouble, has concluded that a father is not only a major force in the life of his daughter, but he molds his life.
This book supports the argument that, for a girl to grow into a confident, well-adjusted woman, and happy, and cultivate a strong father figure is a must. The existence of a strong father in the life of a girl is a foolproof protection from social failure, poverty, drugs and alcohol, school failure, eating disorders, and teen pregnancy, despite being a catalyst for a life emotionally rewarding, successful relationships , personal health and grooming, and educational attainment.
The writer addresses the fathers in the second person - you, and tells them that their fathers, only can provide the support needed to back up their daughters and standing between them and the threats that come from the outside world. The bond between father and daughter is almost holy, and the section "Teach her who God is," the writer says: "When you look at your daughter is sleeping, one is confronted with a spiritual reality that can not be denied. From the moment you born, you sensed the suggestion of his life, the fact that there is something mysterious and transcendent about it, it goes beyond you and your spouse. A man can joke with his friends and colleagues about the fact that God exists. But a father looks at his daughter and he knows it. "
The book has ten chapters with an introduction, afterword, acknowledgments, references, notes and index. The chapters in this book are:

Reading this book, I heard what Dr. Meeker is trying to do is not against the feminist goal, but for it. Although his views may seem conservative, at times, his goal is to raise confident, happy women, and I can not think of anyone not want this .......
